Terrible service

We had an appointment in November for a repair, it took a month and the repair was not done, they needed to order parts. They said we could take it to Florida and it wouldn't hurt the slide. They told us when we got back they would fix it right away. We took our trailer in the beginning of February. It is now March and it still hasn't been fixed.

A And L Rv Sales - Damaging service work
Updated by user Jan 08, 2021

We personally spoke to them about their work. Their responses were deceptive and showed they may not know what they are doing.

We engaged Lake Park GA to make sure everything was working. Instead the LP tanks and regulator were in disarray. The battery was not property connected causing a total electrical failure and ruined the battery. They were unwilling to refund the fees and pay for the ruined battery.Do not do

4 trips no help

A and L RV sales I want everyone to know these people for who they are. Over the past 3 years I have bought 2 campers from them the 1st was a 2002 Terry 30 foot with 1 slide it was a great camper no complaints. We used it 1 year and decided we wanted something bigger so the grand kids could go with us. We went back and was showed this 2011 33 foot 2 slide with a bunk house very nice. This was in late November they had already winterized so we brought it home and I bought a nice cover for it and we put it up for the winter. When we bought it it we also bought a 3 year extended warranty with it. Well in the spring our 1st camping trip was to Pigeon Forge for Memorial Day. We hooked her up and had every thing going and the circuit breaker kicked off every time the AC and Hot water heater were on together. So we wound up running the water heater off of gas. When we got home I took it to A and L to have it checked out. When we uncovered it we found that several places were starting to delaminate that were not that way when we bought it. They called use after about a week and told us they could not duplicate the electrical problem and that the delamination could be a water leak or from the sun but the warranty does not cover that. 2nd camping trip was the 4th of July same camp ground different site now its hot outside and the AC is now dripping in the kitchen floor and the circuit breaker is still kicking off. I went to the camp ground owners and several other campers near us and none of the have any issues with there electrical. When we got home I took it back to them again and left it with them for another week. Same story unable to duplicate the problem. 2 weeks later I take it to Roan Mnt Stated park and camp there AC still leaking circuit breaker still kicked off. When I get home I take to A and L a 3rd time and talk with the service lady and the General Manager I try and explain the best way I know how that there is a problem and if they would just consider replacing the circuit breaker. The General manager told me no unless the could get it to duplicate they could not just replace a part. This time when I picked it up they did tell me that they fixed a baffle in the AC that had come lose causing the water leak. Great at least something. Now 2 weeks later we go back to Roan Mnt different site and guess what circuit breaker not only kicked in the camper but it kicked outside on the post. AC is still leaking so when we got home I took it back to A and L over 2 weeks ago and they called me after 2 days and said that it was ready. I left it there and went over there last Monday 10-1-18 and spoke with the General Manager and tried to explain that this is 4 times 2 different campgrounds and 4 different sites there has to be a problem and the AC leak needs something done. Then he proceeds to explain that if I close all of the vents on the AC to air in the bed rooms at night that it can cause the AC to leak. I ask them to keep it and see if the can get it to act up. I had not heard from them so I call Friday 10-5-18 and spoke with the General Manager he acted like he had no idea who I was or what I was talking about. I had to explain everything again. He said he would check and call me back. That leads me up to today 10-8-18 I had not heard anything so I went over to A and L to check on the camper and progress. When I went in I aske to speak to the General Manager and he still had no clue he had to call the service lady and she went up to the service area. He started this spill that they had been looking at it this morning and still could not get it to kick a breaker. I asked him if I could walk up there to help them or show them what I was doing to cause it to kick the breaker and he said yes to go ahead. I walked up to the service area and what I found was my camper sitting on the outside back parking lot away from the building it did not look like it had been moved in over a week as the battery was dead and dirt and debris was washed up around the tires from the last rain. This upset me very bad knowing they had just lied to my face.

A & L RV SALES, Johnson City, TN

Purchased a 2015 Flagstaff travel trailer from another dealer out of state, but called A & L RV (local for me)for some warranty work to be done. It's 2 little items, which I know exactly what they are. First question was --- did you purchase it from us? No, I did not, but warranty work can be done anywhere authorized and you are. Well, there is a $200 "diagnostic fee" upfront and then you will be scheduled after they are caught up with "their customers!" WHAT????? Guess they really need the money since their sales are down. Won't be going there and will be contacting Forest River (Flagstaff) regarding this issue.
